Rivit launches extra long AFT blind rivets 31 May 2017

Aluminium/steel blind rivets (AFT) are the most used type by customers, because of their suitability to a wide range of applications in different industry sectors. Rivit Srl has now launched a new range of extra long AFT blind rivets.

AFT blind rivets come in a standard series with diameters ranging from 2.4mm to 7.8mm – with lengths between 5mm and 60mm. Rivit’s new range of extra long AFT blind rivets are 4.8mm in diameter and feature lengths from 70mm to 280mm.
The extra long dimensions are designed primarily for use in the construction sector and particularly for fastening roofing and façade, explains Rivit. The greater length allows installation of the blind rivet in larger thicknesses than those usually appropriate for the application of this fastener. As a result the user gains both the flexibility of the additional length and the possibility to operate from one side only, which is the characteristic advantage of blind rivets.
