Improve margins with CORE 09 May 2016

CORE Software, an Irish-based provider of software for the hardware retailing and wholesale sectors, has launched a new software dashboard – Margin Mentor – which provides access to key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure retailers can improve margins.

Hardware retailers are used to dealing with product innovations, supply chain metrics, customer service and varying pricing levels. To help them continue to monitor these KPIs, CORE Software has developed an easy to use interactive Margin Mentor dashboard, which provides users with specific alerts on all the areas that impact on margins.

The dashboard provides dynamic alerts on tasks to be completed, cost price changes, purchase orders, supplier contracts, credit control, promotions, and the impact of all these on retail prices, and ultimately gross margins. The tasks tile on the dashboard also enables users to be part of a workflow, where they can approve or review tasks allocated to them by another user.

From the dashboard users can also access all areas of the CORE system to take appropriate action to help maintain and improve margins. The dashboard is configured to meet the needs of every individual user – ensuring KPIs can be set according to a user’s role in the business.
