Famous for its anti-corrosion coatings, NOF METAL COATINGS EUROPE has been innovating in the field for 40 years, with the company recently celebrating its anniversary at its European head office in Creil, France.

Gathering together a hundred French and international customers, local and regional representatives, Japanese shareholders, the presidents of the six sister companies, and employees, NOF METAL COATINGS EUROPE gave a guided tour of its facilities. Showcasing how the Group, particularly through its latest investments, has been able to continually develop high performance anti-corrosion systems that answer clients’ specifications.
NOF METAL COATINGS EUROPE opened the doors to its surface cleaning preparation area (mechanical and chemical) and the automatic and pneumatic spray application cabin. Explanations were also given on the dip-drain process of the Reinhardt line, the third generation Sprimag brake disc coating line, and the Group’s technical assistance. Other topics included industrialisation, advanced research, project development and the customer support laboratories, as well as technical marketing, corrosion tests and not to forget the GEOMET® Academy – which was inaugurated in 2012 and has more than 400 customers.
The visit was followed by a speech from Jean-Marie Poulet, president and CEO of NOF METAL COATINGS EUROPE: “Such an anniversary is a unique opportunity for our company to look at our history full of success but also doubts, with our eyes of today. The treasures accumulated for 40 years, this acquired expertise – associated to research contracts with the French National Center for Scientific Research or partnerships with important universities, enables us to commit ourselves to further improvement by understanding even better our customers and their requirements.”
