HAMAR moves forward with its long-term strategy 01 December 2020

Despite the effects of the Covid-19 crisis on the global construction sector, HAMAR has continued to realise its action plan, by investing in a modern machinery park and company facility expansion, whilst also concentrating on constant development and active participation in this challenging market.

A Polish manufacturer and distributor of fasteners, Hamar was established in 1993 and from the very beginning set itself the mission of providing high-quality, proven and tested fasteners to the construction industry. Over the years the company has undergone dynamic growth based on the production in its own production facility and distribution of products under its own brands. When faced with the global Covid-19 pandemic the manufacturer was determined to not only successfully handle the situation but to come out of it as resilient as it was before.

Recently, HAMAR developed its machinery capability with new injection moulding machines to produce the extended range of telescope plugs for fixing flat roof insulation membranes. HAMAR states that the investment has enabled it to introduce a new quality on the European market for flexible thermal and roof waterproofing systems for steel, concrete and timber substrates. The significantly wider range of telescope tubes, screws and steel washers, as a part of the system, allows Hamar to meet the most demanding markets.

In addition to its production capabilities, the company offers its customers a technical support in the selection of products and technologies. Using the industry experience and professional HAMAR® IDP App software, its technical office is able to propose individual selections for the optimal number of fasteners, fixing frequency and spacing, as well as wind load calculations, according to the Eurocode EN 1991-1-4. Providing its partners with the highest level of customer service and delivery has always been one of HAMAR’s main principles.

Also, this year, HAMAR has finalised the expansion of its second facility in Gdynia, Poland. The project was designed and built with the use of modern, low emission construction technologies. The expansion includes opening modern office space and the establishment of new technical site infrastructure and a testing laboratory, which are to provide a development impetus for HAMAR’s performance. All this will enable the company to offer its customers complex technical advisory and professional support.
