Mustad SpA is a screw manufacturer that since 1912 has continuously developed its production of quality and technically advanced screws.

Mustad comprises of two manufacturing plants based in the north-west of Italy, close to Turin, with 110 very specialised operators and high-tech machines. Production is performed entirely in-house with strong vertical integration from the wire drawing steps to the case hardening process – with more than ten production steps from the wire coils to the final product.
Specialised departments are dedicated to the machinery maintenance and the production of the forming tools. These form the base for the strong R&D activity that characterises the company.
Mustad’s range of products covers more than 3,000 items with specific and different characteristics in order to maximise the performance in different materials – all kind of woods, PVC, plugs, thermoplastic and thermosetting materials, metals, aluminium and alloys.
The company has obtained ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 certifications and supplies customers in the automotive and electrical industries. During 2012 Mustad also received CE Marking for all its screws for timber structures.
