The Italian manufacturer of approved construction fixings 16 February 2017

G&B Fissaggi Srl offers products of the highest quality and certified performance, with its wide range including nylon fixing systems, steel and chemical anchors for ironmongery, hardware, building and industry, electric, thermo-hydraulic and self-service stores.

Headquartered in Italy, G&B Group has commercial offices in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Spain and France. A key product line for the Group is its range of chemical anchors, which includes vinylester, polyester and pure epoxy resins with European Technical Assessments.

A leading product in the range is GEBOFIX PRO VE-SF CE1, which is vinylester styrene-free for high performance (available in 300ml, 345ml and 410ml) that is also ETA/CE Option 1 approved for use with threaded bars and reinforced bars (ETA – 16/0599) in cracked and non-cracked concrete (ETA – 16/0600); as well as for use in submerged holes.
The chemical anchor is also CE approved for applications in masonry (ETA – 16/0919) and has a fire resistance certification F120. Suited for the main construction structural materials – stone, concrete, aerated concrete, solid and hollow bricks – the GEBOFIX PRO VE-SF has no expansion effect, enabling it to be fixed close to edges. It also does not modify the external appearance of the support. It is suited for applications with threaded bars and reinforced bars, applications on wood and metal carpentry, for fixing of façades, railings, pipe connections, and profiles.
Other versions include the GEBOFIX SISMIK PRO VE-SF CE1 (ETA – 16/0600) – a vinylester styrene-free for high performance which has already been approved for fixing in seismic areas; as well as the GEBOFIX PRO VE SF NORDIC CE1 (ETA – 16/0600), which is available with special formulation for low temperature, that allows applications until -20°C.
Another important product is the MA GREEN PLUS CE7 (ETA – 16/0596), which is a polyester styrene-free chemical anchor that is available in 300ml, 345ml and 400ml. MA GREEN PLUS has approvals for applications in non-cracked concrete, as well as masonry (ETA – 16/0595), and because it is styrene-free it is without additives and solvents dangerous for environments and user, and can be used in closed spaces. It is also suitable as a repair resin or adhesive resin for concrete components.
Designed for use on main construction materials, the MA GREEN PLUS grants high loading values on solid supports, and can be used with galvanised steel and stainless steel accessories. On semi-solid supports, it can be used with steel perforated sleeve and polypropylene brush.
There is also the MA MULTIANCHOR CE7, a polyester resin (available in 175ml, 300ml and 410ml), which recently obtained an ETA for use with threaded bars in non-cracked concrete (ETA – 16/0598).
Regarding pure epoxy resins, G&B Group offers a new 3:1 formulation that grants excellent performance for construction fixing. It is the EPO PLUS RE ETA CE1 (ETA – 11/0182) approved for use with threaded bars and reinforced bars in cracked and non-cracked concrete. The product has obtained the approval for fixing in Seismic Area Cat C1 and C2. It already suited for cored holes and submerged holes. EPO PLUS RE is available with cartridges of 385ml and 585ml.
