New Option 1 ETA for Profix PIT 06 November 2015

Swiss-based Profix AG has introduced the new Profix PIT injection type anchor, which has received an ETA Option 1 (ETA – 15/0051) for use in cracked and non-cracked concrete.

The brand new approval covers M10 – M24 sizes for concrete, hollow brick, natural stone or other materials, as well as in all hole conditions whether dry, wet or flooded. PIT is even currently under test for seismic conditions and Profix is hoping it will be approved for C1 classification by the end of the year.

In addition, Profix PIT has a European Technical Approval for post-installed rebar connections and is LEED approved.

“With Profix PIT users get a high performing injection anchor that offers the highest level of quality without expansion pressure and can even be used close to the edge of surfaces.”

Profix also offers a very high performance multipurpose anchoring mortar (PIT300) available in a 300ml cartridge ready to use (no need to cut) in a standard silicone gun. PIT300 can be used in masonry and in non-cracked concrete where high loads can be achieved. The strength of the anchor remains the same even in flooded holes and the curing time is unchanged when used in dry holes.
