Manufacturing ETA fixings

Offering high performance fixing systems, and a full range of packing possibilities, pgb Polska sp z.o.o – the polish production plant of pgb-Europe NV – says that it is able to supply fastening solutions for every part of the construction industry.
In addition to its wide range of SMART® through bolt anchors – such as SMK/SMKI through bolt anchor with ETA Option 7 (ETA – 11/0474) and S-KA heavy-duty expansion with ETA Option 1 (ETA – 10/0472) – pgb is also able to supply a wide range of other leading products with European Technical Approvals/Assessments, including:
SMART® chemical anchors
The SMART range of chemical anchors has a variety of different chemical resins in the range, such as:
• SMART S-IRP: A high performance polyester chemical anchor, which has an extended ETA for use in dry and wet non-cracked concrete (ETA – 13/0750) as well as in flooded drill holes, without loss of performance.
• SMART S-IRV: A high performance vinylester resin that has an ETA for use in non-cracked concrete (ETA – 13/0749) and for use in cracked concrete (ETA – 14/0141). The ETA covers a full range of diameters with different embedment depths going from M8 to M30, for use in dry, wet and flooded drill holes.
• SMART S-IRW: A vinylester anchor that has the same performances characteristics as the S-IRV and has even been tested for use in temperatures down to -26°C.
• SMART S-SCV: This glass capsule anchor is approved for non-cracked concrete (Option 7) from M8 to M30.
SMART® drop-in anchors
pgb recently obtained an ETA according to ETAG 001-Part 6 for multiple use for non-structural applications in concrete (ETA – 15/0122). The anchor is available in zinc plated (type IA) and stainless steel versions (type IAI). There is also a version with a lip (type IAL) that prevents the anchor slipping in the drill hole. For core drilling machines, pgb also offers the type IAD with reinforced shell.
SMART® hammer nail plugs
The unique design of pgb’s hammer-in fixing (ETA – 12/0572) combines looks with efficiency. Available with different collars, it is a quick fixing for different applications.
SMART® multifunctional plugs with screws
pgb can also supply multifunctional plugs with ETA. Different type of plugs and screw combinations are ETA certified according to ETAG 020 (ETA – 10/0392).
SMART® concrete screws
Covered by an ETA the concrete screw taps its own way into the drill hole. Moreover there is no lateral tension in the base material, which allows the user to use small spacing and edge distances. SMART offers 3 types: Hexagon head (type MZK), hexagon head with pressed-on washer (MZF) and countersunk head for a flush finish (type MVK).
SMART® high performance anchors
SMART high performance anchors offer a high grade of safety. The perfect expansion ensures suitability in cracked concrete, whereas the plastic compression ring ensures the clamping of the mounted piece to the base material. The high performance anchors offer very high shear loads, with different head shapes available – hexagon head (type ZAK), threaded rod with nut (type ZAT) and a countersunk head (type ZAV).
